Yes...it would. The problem is with copyright issues and the "fair use" doctrine. When I first started this blog I almost always did so. But I became concerned about protecting the copyright of the journals and authors. Thus, now I just post the abstracts. However, when I add additional material to an article via links and annotations (see IQs Reading feature) I then post the annotated article for people to read as I then have "added value" which, as I understand it, then is consistent with the fair use doctrine.
And. I have a standing offer to anyone who is interested in an article where I just post the abstract. If I can secure a copy of the article, I will send it to the interested person in exchange of a promise that they would then do a brief guest blog post commentary on the article---which I believe would be consistent with adding value via the fiar use doctrine
