The Eides also pointed out the great presentation by Bob Dougherty at the Asilomar Regional Reading Conference, The Literate Brain: A neuroscience perspective on reading development, available at the Stanford Institute for Reading and Learning's publication page.
It will be a great day when the science gets out of the laboratory and into the classroom.
