#IQs Corner blog is back—again!!!! Repost of original post that went MIA…must have been happy fingers

Sorry.  But my original “IQs Corner blog is back” post disappeared, most likely due to me deleting it by mistake as I worked to relearn blog maintenance skills :)  If you saw the first post before it was deleted, feel free to ignore.

Briefly, I started blogging in 2005…almost 20 years ago!!!!  I blogged regularly for 12 years, and then, due to the press of other projects and an acute serious illness in 2018-2019, IQs Corner more-or-less went silent.  Also, blogging decreased as a strong social media presence.

However, with the emergence of other social media that encourages more brief or micro-blogging (Twitter/X; LinkedIN, etc.), I’ve decided to resurrect the blog in a slightly different form.  It will not have lengthy posts as in the past…to deal with the TDLR effect in social media.  Instead, there will be briefer FYI posts or simple briefer writing on my part.  I do reserve the right to post more traditional lengthy posts. :)

Also, I’m harnessing the cool IFTTT app that sends posts to Twitter/X and LinkedIN automatically as soon as I post a message on IQs Corner…three posts for the price of one!   My “place in the internet space” on the other two platforms are here (Twitter/X; LinkedIN).  Sorry to those that may follow me on the other two platforms…you will receive multiple posts…just ignore.

Let the games begin.

IQs Corner now using twittter

I've bit the bullet. I've now opened a twitter account (@iqmobile). Readers of IQs Corner can sign up to follow my "tweets" (which will be a mixture of professional and some misc stuff) on left-side of this blog.

We shall see if this is something worthwhile. As regular readers have noticed, I've been trying to find ways to efficiently/quickly "pass along" information I find without having to be at my computer. I do mobile blogging via my iPhone. I'm now adding this.

Biology of creativity

Check out interesting study at ENL blog. I found the finding that
diffuse attention may be linked to creativity to be of particular
interest.

Blog break - maybe?

I'm going to be taking a brief blogging break (maybe) for the next week. I'm having eye surgery that requires an unusual positioning of my head for up to four days. However, I've set up a recovery work place that might result in me being even more prolific than before. If you are curious, and esp. if you want to see into the potential future of the efficient work/play station, check out the pictures and description at my personal blog.

"Eye" shall return.

On the road again: Boston NASP 2009

I'm on the road again for work-related business. I will be attending and presenting at the 2009 NASP conference in Boston from Feb 23 to March 1.

I don't expect much time to blog...except for possible "push" type FYI posts re: content posted at other blogs.....or...mobile blogging (check out the link.....it is very cool...but, of course, I tend to be a tech nerd)......with pictures of activities, people, etc. at the conference.

I shall return.
