Student progress monitoring summer institute

I'm an equal assessment methodology blogster.

Yes, although I've spent most of my career developing standardized measures of intelligence and achievement, at my core is the essence of a true quantoid---someone who believes that psychology and education benefit from the development of all kinds of good measurement tools that may serve different functions.

In this spirit, and in my belief in the importance of continuous student monitoring systems, I hereby notify readers of this blog of a potentially valuable summer training experience on continuous student progress monitoring systems.

The National Center on Student Progress Monitoring has just announced it's 2005 Summer Institute (July 7-8 in Washington, DC). Registration is now open at the web site.

Long live good measurement on behalf of students.
